Obstruction is a Young Adult novel telling the story of the rock band Obstruction, told from the vocalist Izzy’s perspective. It follows Izzy through a year, as she finds her confidence as a vocalist and through some romantic entanglements. This is a more Mainstream novel, and has been compared to books like Daisy Jones and the Six, and the Netflix series Julie and the Phantoms.
Each chapter is named for a song the band covers.
The E-book will be available in June 2025, and the paperback in August 2025.
